Situated in 22 acres of forest, Seal Beach Cottage looks out on beautifully developed gardens, a horse paddock, and a sand and pebble beach. The 950 sq.ft. modern cottage contains 2 bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and one with twin beds. Relax and watch the views of Miners Bay from the cozy living room or enjoy the entertainment centre with TV, VCR, stereo and movies in front of the glass front woodstove. Wi-Fi is available. A comfortable hideabed converts to a queen sized bed, perfect for extra guests. Have a barbeque on the patio overlooking the beach or take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen. There are complete laundry facilites. Walk outside and enjoy the beach, expansive grounds and forest. Take a 10 min walk to downtown Miners Bay with it's shops, restaurants and galleries. |

Activities on Mayne IslandKayaking - Discover the island's tranquil beauty from the same perspective as the Orca whales, seals, otters and sea lions that make the surrounding waters their home. Cycling - the island is 5 km. wide and 8 km long with a pleasant mix of flat and hilly terrain. Hiking - there are several marked and maintained trails. Nature walks - mushroom hunting, wild flowers, wild life, intertidal life, scuba diving, sailing, fishing [salmon, cod, red snapper], sightseeing |

Here's just a sampling of the wide array of native wildlife you can expect to see on Mayne Island: Chipmunks, Black Tail Deer, wild Mink and Marten, River Otters, Raccoons, Squirrels, Stellar and California Sea lions, Harbour seals, Orca whales, Dolphins. Crows, Ravens, Ducks, Bald eagles, Cormorants, Oyster catchers, King fishers, Grouse, Gulls, Hawks, Herons, Hummingbirds, Ospreys, Turkey Vultures, Pheasants, Quail and Woodpeckers. Clams, Crabs, Octopus, Sea Birds, Sea Cucumbers, Shellfish, Shrimp, Whales, Perch, Salmon, Trout, Walleye, Ling Cod, and Rockfish. Prices for low season.Oct. 1, 2008 thru April 30, 2009 Weekly rental $675.00 Daily $125.00 Visa and Mastercard Accepted Deposit needed - 50% with balance due 45 days before arrival. Cancellation - 45 days notice needed. Loss of deposit if we are unable to rebook.

When leaving the ferry terminal, turn LEFT. Follow Village Bay Road for 1.5Kms., when the road curves to the left, take the next street on the LEFT (Maple Drive) to Seal Beach.
